Our Location
Art Retreat Tamarindo is located just outside of the bustling town of Tamarindo on the Pacific Coast of Costa Rica. Tamarindo is a place that can offer a “back to earth” lifestyle, leaving the high technology world behind. The nearest airport is Guanacaste Airport, also called Liberia International Airport. Our location in Tamarindo is about an hour drive away. Tamarindo is most known for its surfing and also offers many wonderful shops and restaurants specializing in fresh local fish and produce. The people are welcoming and there is a large international community.
The 750 sq ft ocean-front studio where the retreat is based is adjacent to the main house. The studio contains 8 large wooden tables and 2 large wall spaces to hang work, with space for 4 artists to work at a time comfortably. Access to a wide array of mixed media materials will be available.
The property has a pool and 3 casitas for sleeping. The beach can be accessed by a beautiful path directly from the property. The property is quiet aside from the sound of the ocean.
When attending Art Retreat Tamarindo you are welcome to stay on the property, or in one of the many hotels nearby.
